Benedict XVI - What
did he know and when
did he know it? |
|
|
|
Admittedly, I can not be completely objective in judging this matter.
Joseph Ratzinger is not only the leader of my faith, but is also very
intelligent and articulate man that has fervently and consistently lived
for Jesus Christ all of his life.

|
Benedict has emphatically called for a zero tolerance policy in dealing
with sexual predators of any type. Some of the unfortunate and
regrettable actions perpetrated by a very small percentage of clergy
over 20 yrs. ago were in part due to policies, then promoted by the
psychological professionals, too accommodative toward men in ministry
with homosexual inclinations. While the same critics blast the
church and its leader for these past problems, they simultaneously blast
the church for opposing homosexual marriage. In short,
if the management of the New York Times has it out for you, you get it
coming and going.
The critics and enemies of Benedict are not so concerned with
protecting children as with filling their pockets and attacking the
institution that has taught the clear Gospel of Jesus Christ for 2000
yrs. The likes of Steven Dawkins and the New York Times most despise
Benedict and the Catholic Church for consistently opposing social issues
such as abortion, euthanasia, and homosexual marriage.
|
The Catholic Church is the largest non-governmental provider of charity
in the world, consistently showing up and giving whether it be a Tsunami
in Indonesia or massive earthquakes in Haiti and Chile. The
critics of Benedict do nothing as secular progressives associated with
the UN and Pro-abortion entities aggressively promote abortion targeted
at the lower income populations of the southern hemispheres, in areas
like Africa and Central America.
