Pardon the quality of the image. This was taken during the early
'90s with a Polaroid Instamatic camera. Despite the poor quality,
you can easily tell how big the tumor is. This benign tumor was
successfully removed from the abdomen of a Golden Retriever belonging to
a Dallas Police Officer. The tumor developed from the muscle layer
of the small intestine. Fortunately, the dog returned to a normal
life with his family. I have never seen or removed anything
of this size since. CG
