Canine Hip Dysplasia

Rio was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia as a puppy. Rio
underwent
bilateral femoral head & neck ostectomies as a puppy to allow him to
live a comfortable life. He is now able to walk comfortably.
The type of surgery that Rio underwent can be performed at The Animal Care
Center. The other surgical alternative, Total Hip Replacement, must
be performed at a veterinary orthopedic specialty center.
